Datuk Ir. Rosaline Ganendra

Datuk
Ir. Rosaline Ganendra obtained her Bachelor of Science
degree in Engineering from the Imperial College of
Science & Technology, London in 1984. She is a
registered Professional Engineer in Malaysia and
Association of City and Guild, UK. Datuk Rosaline
started her career with Ganendra, Ahmad & Associates in
1985 where she was a Deputy Project Manager. Later, from
1994 until 1999, she was a Partner in Charge / Project
Manager with Ganendra, Ahmad & Associates. During this
tenure, she was in charge of the civil and structural
engineering projects, with day to day management and
responsibility of planning, design and construction
supervision. Some of the major projects which she
undertook were the Mid Valley City 1.5 million sq. ft.
of Mixed Development of Offices, Retail and Commercial
Space, 3900 acres Sg. Buloh New Township Development, 40
Storey 5 Star Renaissance Hotel, New World Hotel and
Podium, and STAR LRT Phase 1 from Ampang to Jalan Sultan
Ismail.
As a Director
of Minconsult Sdn Bhd, she is involved in the management and
operations of the company and is responsible for overall
technical and administrative management of projects
right from
feasibility study to master planning to detailed
design up to construction stage. She has been the Project
Director for a number of prestigious projects in Malaysia
specializing in various fields of engineering, including
water supply system projects, road and highway projects,
airport projects, baggage handling system, railway line,
power plant, town planning, bridges, flood mitigation
project and engineering and management audit.
Among the
major projects undertaken by Datuk Ir. Rosaline were the
Convention and Exhibition Centre for KLCC, Labuan
Financial Park Offices and Apartments, Redevelopment of
Kota Kinabalu International Airport and Alor Setar
Airport, A-380 Hangar / Workshop and M&E Works at MAS
Complex, KLIA, Dedicated Baggage Handling System for
Express Rail Link, KLIA Track Transit System, Railway
Double Tracking Bidor – Ipoh 67 Kilometres, Asian
Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (AIMST)
and University Malaysia, Sabah.
Among her
memberships with professional institutions include being a
Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM),
Fellow of the Institution of Highways & Transportation
UK (IHT), Honorary Member of the ASEAN Engineer Register
(AER), APEC Engineer Register, EMF International
Engineer Register, Member of ASEAN Federation
Engineering Organisation (AFEO) and Member of the
Institution of Engineers Australia & Chartered
